let’s fall asleep in a fridge
nestled into the vegetable draw
and enjoy each other’s warmth
while singing to the persimmons

let’s get hot enough to fry eggs
and bacon on our bare backs
share breakfast in this cozy bed
that rests at the edge of our universe

let’s make earth our mini golf course
putt balls into the mouths
of active volcanoes and watch
as they’re gulped up by the magma

let’s launch into space from the swing set
dip our toes nervously into the sky
til we’re brave enough for liftoff
above the playground bark

let’s be supermassive stars folding
inwards in simultaneous combustion
form a pair of primordial black holes
and oscillate together for eternity
